Ms. Blasingame (aka Ms. B)
I am very excited to be working with you and your child this 2018-2019 school year. It is going to be a great year filled with lots of learning, adventure, and fun.
I am a proud alumni of Round Rock ISD (McNeil High School '97). It is a blessing to return to this great district and serve our community as a teacher.
I have over 10 years of teaching practice in a variety of settings. I am entering my 7th year teaching Special Education and 3rd year as a proud Hopewell Hornet. I hold a Masters of Education in Special Education with concentrations in Curriculum & Instruction and Emotional/Behavioral Disorders. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from St. Edward's University where I was a member of the spirit squad as a cheerleader and participated in a student leadership team. In fact, I also serve as the the Head Coach for Hopewell Cheerleading Squad! I hold specialized training in Applied Behavioral Analysis techniques, non-violent crisis prevention, trauma informed care and positive behavioral interventions. Finally, I serve as a representative for Hopewell Middle School with the Association Texas Professional Educators.
When not teaching, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, dancing, creating abstract art, travelling to the beach or Seattle, watching sports (football or baseball), seeking outdoor adventures in my Jeep and eating amazing tacos at local restaurants.
